Meet Mariem and Fati, two brave little girls from Mauritania born conjoined at the head, one of the rarest birth conditions in the world. Specialized care wasn't available in their home country so Justice Health Initiative (JHI) brought them to Boston, providing everything from visas and travel to housing, meals, and life-saving medical care. Now, they are preparing for their final surgery to be separated. Your support will help fund the next chapter of their journey: rehabilitation, recovery, and a safe return home to Mauritania with the care they need to thrive.
